Awesome cakes! Glad to hear the party was great - little g's 6th birthday part was Saturday too...people were at our house from 1pm - 12am so I hear ya on the long day!

My friend Favi has her own business doing catering and cakes. I was really excited when she told me she would do the cakes for us. I told her to surprise me and I was so happy when she showed up with both of them....my son is really into Toy Story right now and that is why she did Mr. Potato Head. My daughter loves anything girly so she loved the pink cupcake flower too.

She's the one I did the charity events with a couple of weeks ago. We handed out 750 cupcakes at the last one....she's really busy. She had to deliver a cake in the shape of a camera on Saturday too....crazy.

Hey Nikki! How are you guys doing? Chad just got home with 12 mallards that are now in my goat barn in a baby pool....spring fever hit your house yet?

We are doing pretty good. Just feeling a little overwhelmed with all the projects we have to do LOL. At least now we are in a position to get at least some of them done.

I was at TSC a couple weeks ago and thought of you when I saw some ducklings. Charles really wants some, but wants some for eating. I love the little call duck pictures. They look so CUTE!! Don't know if we'll get them though. That's a couple/few years away before we have to decide.

Spring fever has hit full on! It hit me really hard at the beginning of February and I'm going half crazy (er).

We do have the raised beds in place, now we just need to fill them. I'll also be planting corn and boss in my old garden plot. Maybe some squash and beans as well.

I'm also getting a few more chickens the first of April from a swap up this way. I already have 6 silkies and 2 easter eggers reserved. I'm really excited!

The lady at the bank has started calling me the crazy chicken lady, my daughter calls me old. It's all good though, I can rock wrinkles and chickens LOL.

Do you by any chance have muskovies?
