I just knew I was gonna get some of those comments when I typed that!

I was talking to a coworker of my husbands that loves goat cheese and he says to me "Oh yeah, goat cheese is supposed to taste slightly of feet...." completely serious. I thought I was gonna die laughing. He actually wants me to make him some.

Well, I am trying to get caught up on laundry today and it is finally all on the line. The kids want to go to the pool today....surprise surprise. I found a really good website today and printed off some schoolwork for the kids since the pool is proving to be really good incentive for them doing EVERYTHING.

Their rooms are clean-er and the schoolwork is mostly done, I have a few more things I want Tyler to practice today before we go to the pool again.

Granny's surgery went well, they found that her shoulder was so bad that it had actually severed some blood vessels in her arm and she had a pint of blood in there pooled up. They kept her for an additional day in case she needed a transfusion. The last time she had surgery she did not do well with the anesthesia so they did a nerve block instead. She is in pain but doing well. They are trying to make sure her therapy is set up and she feels better before she goes home. She does not do well with pain and getting her to do therapy may be an issue.

Gonna call her in a little bit to see if they are going to discharge her today or keep her another day. I called last night but they had her up to go to the bathroom and she couldn't come to the phone. She sounded so worn out I just told her I would call her today.

Well, just got off the phone with granny and she sounds really good and is going home in a little bit! She can't hold up the phone to her ear so I have to get her to put it on speaker phone but she sounded pretty happy to get out of the hospital.

They ended up putting her on iron pills and they didn't have to give her a blood transfusion after all. Yay!
