Well, he does the electrocution....I mean electrostimulation stuff first. It is weird cause the first two treatments he did ice on top of the pads for the electro and then the next two he did heat, then switched back to ice. Then he does a massager on my back before the adjustments. He is doing a subluxation on my lower back because of the thinning of the disc between my lumbar 4 and 5 where I had a previous buldging disc. The process of stretching my spine back out is what really hurts. He puts me on the table and raises and lowers my legs while pushing on my vertebrae to stretch me out.
I don't know what happened to get the bruise, usually it is okay but I think I was too far down on the table and when he pushed on my hips it just shoved my inside thigh into the bolts on the side of the table.
I used the heating pad last night on my neck and lower back a bit but I'm still sore today. I just think that it is going to be a long process that is going to be drawn out even more due to the money situation. One visit per week is gonna be rough when i've been used to 2 but hopefully the rehab exercises that we start next week will help out some. I may switch to ice tonight and see if that helps some.
Today I'm doing laundry, I need to change all the sheets on the beds. I ripped our best (800 thread count) sheets last night...rolled over and heard a tear down near the bottom where it was really worn and I had already patched it once. I ignored it and this morning when I rolled over to cut off the alarm my toe went right into the hole and ripped about a foot long tear in the fitted sheet. So it looks like I get to figure out a new way to salvage those sheets. I may use the flat sheet as a quilt backing since it is still good. I may use the fitted sheet as tote bag lining. I refuse to throw it away. It is cream colored so it will go with just about anything.
After I finish one more load of laundry I'm gonna go rip up the remains of my sad raised bed gardens and put some organic fertilizer in the boxes and maybe turn in some straw to fluff it up a bit and plant some fall crops.
The kids asked if they could do "arts and crafts" today so they are engrossed in homemade play doh and cookie cutters right now. I also filled up two spray bottles with water so they could go out and spray each other later when it gets warmer. They had a really good time with it last night....played for over and hour with the spray bottles. Not bad for less than $2 for the bottles. I got good large ones from Home Depot and labeled them with their names and WATER ONLY so they won't get mixed up with any other cleaning supplies. Cheap entertainment is wonderful!
So, I was having a problem getting my son to do his "schoolwork". I sat down with him and told him that if he didn't do his schoolwork in public school or at homeschool with me then mommy would get into trouble. I told him that the police could come and get mommy into trouble for truancy. Now he has convinced himself that I will go to jail if he doesn't do his schoolwork.

I did NOT tell him they would put me in jail but any time I mention the police he immediately thinks jail.
He also came to me two nights ago after we put them to bed and said "mommy, I need to tell you something...okay, I said....I just wanted to say thank you for being my mommy cause I only have one mommy and I love you" I just about cried....so sweet. Then he went and said the same thing to Chad.
