Its insane right?!

Even worse, I thought... hum... I'll post a banner ad and pay for it on the Toronto section. I pay the $21 and post it up, and...THEY TAKE IT DOWN. So now I'm even more angry, I don't want to be refunded my money,WANT MY AD. I just don't understand this. The rule has always been there, but no one has inforced it because its a stupid rule. My closest CITIES are Belleville, Peterborough, and Kingston... I don't live IN the city and Belleville is tiny, Kingston gets no hits, and Peterborough... well I think we've had maybe 1 sale from there.

I posted about this on the kijiji discussion, and people AGREE WITH IT.

I'm not sure what we're going to do about our puppies now. I paid for a banner and front page ad for Belleville, but I know it won't help because people just don't spend money here. I put up an ad in the Belleville Intelligencer newspaper, but no one looks there. I'm going to buy an ad in the Riders Advertiser but they come out every month so I'm probably too late. I'm looking at buying an ad in the Toronto Star now.

I'm so worried.
 
OK, another idea. Can you find someone in those cities to post an ad and put their phone number, then refer the messages to you? Then give them a finder's fee for every sale you make.

Or get a cheap cell phone with a number from the largest city and post that number.

That is weird that they will only let you post in your own area. Especially if you are paying for a banner. I hope you can figure things out.
 
That's odd that they are removing your ads. Whenever we advertise anything, it goes in the windsor, Chatham and London kijiji's. We haven't had problem yet.

Once someone reports you, they seem to flag your account and then it's next to impossible to get more than one ad up.
 
What if you used a different email addee? And didn't put your phone # on it? Just have the ppl respond to this ad? It's easy to get new dmail addees.
 
Its so frustrating.

Miss_thenorth, we need the telephone number on there because we get most of our replies through telephone. I complained about this in a thread on the kijiji discussion area and was told by a kijiji rep that if I didn't post duplicate ads and I posted in one category in my nearest big city (what a loose term lol) that they probably wouldn't notice. My nearest city is rather small, Belleville, so I just posted in Toronto to see and so far its still up... I changed the wording in the heading a bit and since Toronto is the city we get most of our business from, I'm hoping they leave it up.

It irks me more because I PAID $21!! for a banner ad in Toronto and they removed it. So... what happens to my $21?
 
Today was Accio's follow-up vet appointment. They shaved his ample belly and did his ultrasound. Big shock, Ultrasound came up clean with no abnormalities aside from thickening of the urinary tract walls (consistent with inflammation). The vets has diagnosed suspect "Idiopathic Interstitial Cystitis" and under that on my little report card it reads "Can be stress-related but causes not all known". Go figure lol.

Anyway he was dosed with a shot of Cartrophen, given 3 more days of the Metacam, and has to take 1/2 tablet of Amytriptyline daily for 3 weeks.

So far its good. On top of that, we went to Halton Hills today to put up some puppy posters and went into Bahr Saddlery and I finally got the little feeder that you always see people using on their goat milking stands :D
