Okay, number one note for the day...
ITS 31*C OUTSIDE! WITH HUMIDITY AT 61%!
THAT my SS friends is RIDICULOUSLY hot and humid
Poor Luna is just baking, some things delayed my run-in shelter so while she has a lot of shade down the end of her field, she won't go in it :/ so I've just put electrolyte powder (I know she'll drink it, she loves the stuff) in her water and am keeping her stocked up. I've also cut her mane off because I didn't get around to pulling it this spring and she has a welsh pony type mane LOL so it was getting really hot underneath. I'm going to take a bucket of cold water down this evening and give her a sponge bath too. Any other ideas? She's fly sprayed and has a flymask on (that has a forelock hole!). I need to put some sunscreen on her nose/blaze too.
Aside from that today is moving day for the raspberries and blackberries. This morning in the blistering heat I dug out the new little patches for them. In our veggie garden there are 2 4'x4' beds dug into the ground (not raised) and I've added compost and for some reason I thought perlite would help too because I had it and kind of spilled it a little so I thought, heyyy why not!
Oh and over the weekend my brother, me, and my dad shot on location and put together Kevin's geography CCA. He made a video tour of Stirling and he even burned it to a DVD to show his class
He's so cool lol.

Great job on the berries!! I hate to admit it but without looking it up I am not sue what 31 deg translates into in Fahrenheit. But I get the humdidity!! 
Your brothers video looks great. Such a neat little place you live. One question. What does he mean at the end when the credits say "120 residents are First Nations" ? Is that a way of saying they were born there?

First Nations are Natives. I was surprised that so few Natives live in Stirling, we're very close to 2 reserve towns (and actually one is a township with about 4 or 5 small towns in it). So out of the whole 4905 people in Stirling-Rawdon Township, only 120 are registered as First Nations.

I know you Northerners have low resistance to a little heat, so temps and humidity bother you a lot. I just want to say I totally understand that.lupinfarm said:
Then I just wanted to mention when I saw your heat wave it actually made me laugh! In summer here in Missouri (also often caused Misery) it OFTEN reaches 35 to 38 degrees C (95 to 101 F) with 80 to 90 percent humidity!!!
It gets so hot you feel like you could melt and so humid the sweat won't evaporate off of your body. Now that is how you know it is hot.

Its not even the height of summer yet It'll get hotter and more humid. Its only May, we still have June, July and August to think about! Ontario is quite humid and hot in the summer... especially if you live down south in Southern Ontario but not south enough to get a lake breeze. On a lot that has almost no trees. In a house where most of the bedrooms are south facing. UGH.

This week we are in the 80's and that is odd for Ohio too. The older I get the more I like 70's or below. I'm just trying to keep animals cool with fans and lots of fresh water. I also add the horse electrolytes. The alpacas love the cherry flavor. The only good thing is that some alpacas that I have been waiting to give birth, are finally giving birth. I think they were waiting for warmer weather! 
Hope it cools down for you soon. it is supposed to be in tehe 70's this weekend which I'm looking forward to.
