Almost Self-Reliant
My dh got a set of gas logs, hearth, mantle, remote, the whole kit and caboodle given to him!!! It was only a couple of years old and HAD NOTHING WRONG WITH ANY OF IT! The person just wanted a different set. He told my dh to take all of it he wanted and whatever was left was on the way to the dump. Dh took everything including the trash. if he was good enough to give the good stuff to us, then the least we could do was to take it all to save him a trip to the landfill for the rest was how my dh saw it. Dh suggested putting it in the greenhouse! No way! I thought that was really nice to give it to us, it will really be good when the electricity goes out. Not to mention the fire flickering.... It looks just like a real fireplace!
