Managed to cut myself

and on barbed wire nonetheless!

Was feeding the goats and forgot about the barbed wire at the top of the fence and caught my fingers on it as I was putting their feed over to them.

I thought it was just a scratch but one of them turned out to be a bit deeper than I first thought. Cleaned the cut and banadaged it. Finger sure is sore, though!

DH will most likely want to see it when he gets home. He thinks he has to look me over anytime I hurt something. Hmmm...maybe I should really work that....can't cook dinner, hon, I cut my finger.......

Tetnus, two years. Took Medical assisting and we had to be UTD on all shots.

Still, keep an eye on it for infection....yucky. Did it bleed good? I like to sqeeze em out good so any nasty stuff inside comes out, helps keep the infection down....
Good thing you've got some medical skills, at least you didnt stick it straight in your mouth now, did you?
Take care of yourself...oh, and dont over do it goat chasin. Just shoot em.

Owie! Glad the tetanus shot is up to date!

Yup, I'm glad, too. The bandage came loose so I just took it off and it sealed shut nice. Other than an angry red stripe, you wouldn't know it's there.

Sure hurt like the Dickens tho!
