Mason Jar treasure find :)

Went to the dump to dump my garbage and myb uddy who works there tells me to come over and see him after. When I get there I see about 50 1 Qrts mason jars in a fish box. He hands them to me and says " Is this enough??" I laugh and say that'll help a lot. I love our dump. Sheb who runs it is always keeping his eye out for stuff for me. Love small towns.

Score! I loved my dump where we used to live, too. For whatever reason, dumps (transfer stations) aren't common up here. We have recycling bins in every town but trash is by pick up or drive awhile to get to a real dump.

Our dump has a "re-use zone" where you can drop off things you don't want that are too good to toss. My husband dreads it when I take the bi-monthly trip to the dump. It's pretty common for me to come home with as much, if not more, than I left with.
