I learned a long time ago, in my first marriage, that if I wanted something done all I had to do was to start the project. Of course, according to him I could never do it right, so he'd take over.

I would smile my 'thank you for rescuing helpless me' and walk away muttering "mission accomplished."

Doesn't work with this marriage - he just says "you got this."

it is too bad we can't send extra to places that need it.

I'm thinking of getting two more chooks ... it is only two of us at home, so I may approach the neighbour (who does not have any) and ask her whether she woulc like eggs, and in exchange, if she will keep her scraps for me : )
