i only have driven across the camel hump of Texas (going over to hit the road at Clines Corners in NM that goes up to Santa Fe) normally i am ready by then to take a nap outside Amarillo before i finish the trip. it's been many years since i've driven that ways now. i'm not even sure i could do it.
