I cleaned a friends apt for him that looked about 10x worse than that. Took 4 competent adults 8 hours and I don't know how many bags of trash anymore. It was for renewal inspection and he was on cruise.

I did much screaming and I was the least squeamish person there. Grown men wouldn't touch things I removed. Yes, we used gloves. I was also unfortunately the only one who could get on their knees to scrub the bath. Took sos to get the oil film off.

At least he paid us

I don’t keep ice cream in my freezer. I only buy the tiny cartons, and not very often. I’m trying to lose a few pounds, doing Pilates to get in better shape. My daughter from another mother, her family and I are going to Athens, Greece in September 2026, for 10 days. She’s going to the gym and working out 3 days a week. She’s lost 12 pounds. We are both determined to be bodacious bikini babes, as we’ll be staying 2 blocks from the ocean. By the time the trip rolls around, I’ll be 71.
Wearing a bikini.
I’m looking at as, do I KNOW those people?
No.
Will I EVER see them again?
No.
Will anybody be horrified?
Maybe. Don’t care.
No Bluebell for me!

we don't have curtains on any of the windows here. Mom says that if they ever look in they'll surely never look again. i'm quite ok with it except the curtains would block the light in the early mornings when i'm trying to see what i'm typing. i currently have a few pieces of cardboard propped at the end of my futon which blocks the light and keeps the sun out of my eyes. the main reason though is that it really helps reduce eye-strain to have no light shining on me at this time of the morning.
