it's one of those myths like growing up and Santa Claus (sorry if this is a spoiler for some people). there is no proof in my observational experience that growing up ever happens to anyone.

funny, but for so many years we always ate the smooth canned version that i never knew anything else. i still admit to liking it and Mom prefers it over any of the homemade kinds. she stocked up for this coming event and she's got the roast on for today so it might even end up being partially done this evening.
she's so busy during the week and wants some things done to process it so an ill friend can have some tastes. it should be interesting as i've never attempted to puree some chuck roast before.
