maybe some peas in a few weeks! first beans that you won't mind losing too about then, if you have plenty of seeds it's worth a shot for some early beans. mostly have to play it by what the forecast says as if it is going to be too cold too often it will still be better to wait.

my sister sent us some fabric towels that we can use as napkins because we've had these other cloth napkins but nobody wants to use them because they look so nice. the fabric towels can be washed just like any other piece of fabric.

we've never bought a roll of paper towels... if i want some paper to soak up something i can use some toilet paper or we have some rags that we can use to get up things that we want to throw away.

the most likely use of a bit of toilet paper here is this time of the year when the bugs are coming out of hibernation and are sometimes inside the house. i get the bug and then i put the squished bug and bit of tp in the bucket of organic materials that i feed to the worms or bury in a garden. i'm not wasting any bit of organic material here if at all possible and it sure doesn't belong in a landfill.
