I have a tiny hand purse I made out of the pockets off a pair of ratty BDU pants
Oh neat! Got a pic? That would make a cool make-up bag or wallet to go inside a body armor purse :D

If you make your own, do yourself a favor and GET A THIMBLE! Going through layers of canvas KILLED my fingers.

Found it! It was in the "gun purse" full of ammo. Appropriate, no? It measures about 4" x 6". I think it also needs a zipper or velcro for the center pocket. Both outer pockets have snaps.

Great idea wifezilla!! I have an old set of my daughters bdus in the closet. I will see if her or DSIL can get me any other old things. I might have to go to the army surplus store and look for some cool things. I actually told DH last time we were in there that I could make a cool purse out something I had found there(Can't remember what) Gotta get busy!!

I LOVE that purse and I'm not the kind of person who gets excited about purses. That's wonderful! Too bad I'm not crafty enough and don't have the supplies because I'd have one of those if I could.

That is totally outstanding! I was wondering if you did that with a machine and what type of needle then I saw you needed a THIMBLE! Holy smokes that is nice work by hand!
