We went to a friends yesterday, 2 hrs one way. We stayed the night and when we got home the coop door was ripped open and there is a trail of feathers from the coop to our fence, a 5 1/2 ft wall. I'm sure its the neighbor's dog but we didn't see it. That is the only dog that has managed to find a way in our yard. I am so fusterated.

If a 5 1/2 foot wall didn't stop the dog I very much doubt adding a strand of wire will help. We are in the desert and a good ground is hard to get. I've got a neighbor who has tried running the ground parallel to the hot wire but with the wind blowing it can can cause the wires to touch which can cause sparks. To high a fire risk. Of course that was on the ground, not sure how I would even mount a wire to the wall. Good idea though. Livestock inspector and Sheriff both said I have the right to shoot it. I guess if it comes back......
