Quelle surprise.

Greedy morons.

Of course they'll just put some new fiercer herbicide on the market, justified as necessary to whup this problem... and then GMO crop seeds that are resistant to the fiercer herbicide... and then an *even* fiercer one...

"There was an old woman who swallowed a fly... she swallowed the horse to catch the cow, she swallowed the cow to catch the dog, she swallowed the dog to catch the cat, she swallowed the cat to catch the rat..." etc etc

Sigh,

Pat

I think I'll go sit in my garden for a while and snicker to myself. I may not like to garden a whole bunch, but Monsanto makes me so dang mad that my garden keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I'm sorry, but I burst out laughing at that headline.

Weeds Are Now Resisting Monsanto Weed Killer, Spurring Crisis in American Agriculture
Imagine that!! Pat, that's a great little song, perfect for this scenario.

Morons. Can't wait to see what evil garbage they come up with now

My farming husband says that the Round-up is still working fine for farmers, but Monsanto no longer has THE market on it and so is coming up with new products to sell. <shrug>

Antibiotics have no affect on viruses, only on bacteria. There are antivirals on the market, but viri mutate quickly, so they aren't always effective.

You know, there's an even more evil thought. If you can't corner the market, get rid of it and make a new one.
I. Hate. Monsanto.
