This is sooo awesome!! Monsanto is finally getting a taste of what they've been shoveling. I love it. Hopefully Monsanto will be made to pay back restitution to those farmers they screwed.
Appeals or not, the S* has now hit the fan for Monsatan. I think it has now opened a "pandora's box" for them. YeeHaw!
In checking Lady's organic consumers link, there is a place to see if your state officials are on MS's payroll (so to speak). Thankfully I didn't see any from Washington state. Sorry kids, no more cereal for you (Kellogg being in cahoots with MS)

not the bring down the fun, but i just read this on the Millions against Monsanto site:

Monsanto, the number one producer of the rBGH synthetic steroid, sued Oakhurst, claiming they should not have the right to inform their customers that their dairy products do not contain the Monsanto chemical. Given the intense pressure from the transnational corporation, Oakhurst was forced to settle out of court, leaving many other dairies vulnerable to similar attacks from Monsanto.

maybe now that their patents aren't valid, they won't have the time or money for lawsuits like this one.

I was completely unaware of the extent of how bad it really was. I had heard rumors of farmers that lost land to gmo companies becasue they couldn't pay the "technology fee" but always thought it was an urban myth. I'm truly terrified for the world's biodiversity now.
