Hey all :frow

We have had a few threads about vit supplements and I am not sure that I have got it all.

I want to pick up some supplements and just want to make sure that I am not forgetting something.

The key things that affect mood and energy are:

Vit D

B (or is it B6 specifically?)

Magnesium (cramps and PMS)

Anything else that I am missing?

I have two teen age DDs and I am sure that Hubby and DS would appreicate us minding our health to lessen the impact on them :gig

Hubby would appreciate it, I am sure! LOL

As for B vitamins, it isn't just B6. B12 effects the brain too.

That pretty much sums up what I use. I have to use large amounts of each to notice, but everybody is different. For mag, I like Natural Calm, which is a powder you put put in hot water or transdermal oil. It's way more effective that way.
I like sublingual multi-B drops.
I just started using larger amounts of D3 because of the gray days, and it's helping. I was struggling.
Oh - just remembered, we use EmergenC every day too, and consume lots of green smoothies.

One more thought - some people like omega 3 oils, or a 3-6-9 blend like UDOS. I have no opinion on it.

you will not have sufficient b12 unless your stomach is working right. The parietal cells promote the absorption of b12 when it moves fromt he stomach down into the small instestine.

If you are low in stomach acid, have lots of gas, bloating, indigestion you may be low in intrinsic factor produced by the parietal cells of the stomach which promote B12 absorption.

Many people do much better with B12 injections than oral intake.

I have a bottle of B12 tablets to use. Would it be better to take quite a few to get the same benefits of B12 injection, which isn't likely to happen for me soon. I don't seem to have absorption issues, use ACV regularly prior to meals.

don't we just keep circling back to the same conversation? Grains, refined in particular seem to be at the root of a lot of
dietary issues!

And NO OFG.... This is not where tequilla comes in knuckle
head!

A pomegranite martini is much more appropriate.....all those great antioxidants and all!
