My dh's place of work had a chili and dessert contest. The prize for each contest was $50 in a Cheesecake Factory giftcard. They were having a big party for the Superbowl (Go Colts!) and were gracious enough to have this fun contest. Anywho, I won the dessert contest

Not a real SS topic But, I used all of the stocked items in my kitchen & I won a GC so dh and I can go out for a free night out...

I once won $50 for a cheesecake I made for a valentines baking contest sponsored by the library. My employer cut out the article in the paper and put it on the bulletin board. I then become the person that had to bring the cheesecake to every event!!
