mushroom hunting

All you guys living in the US have the most luck with mushrooms....even here in France "the land of mushrooms" i struggle to find any thing other that king boletes....which sounds great but when thats all you find its gets a bit predictable......would'nt mind a few trompettes or chanterelles once in a while. at the end of november we were picking about 15 kilos a day and leaving the more mature specimens.....the woods here are 100% dominated by boletes! back in england there were hardly any boletes but loads of other stuff like russula, wood mushrooms, chicken of the woods etc etc... i would love to do some mushrooming in the US as ive never actually seen a morel growing in the wild. Rant over now how do you upload a photo???:/

First, you need to have made 10 posts. Then, click on uploads in the blue bar above your username and follow the instructions. It's pretty simple after you've done it once or twice...
