Mushrooms Apulia

Anytime I hear balsamic vinegar is in a recipe my ears perk up. I just overheard in the grocery store line of dark chocolate and balsamic vinegar in something, but no details.
So, frustrated, I made these instead and they were sooo good!

Mushrooms Apulia

1 T olive oil
1/4 onion chopped
1/2 c chopped garlic
3 1/2 oz whole button mushrooms
2 1/2 oz baby spinach
1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
2 T white wine
s & p
chopped parsley

saute onion and garlic.
add mushrooms and saute 3-4 min.
add spinach and balsamic vinegar, cooking till vinegar absorbed.
add wine and cook till absorbed on low heat.
season with salt and pepper and garnish generously with parsley.

Mushroom anything is what gets my attention and those sound delicious

Me too, any thing mushroom and I am all over it! I love this recipe...hmmm it has mushrooms and its easy. Easy is very appealing to me these days.

I have everything at home to make this Maybe I'll use my kale instead of spinach though, it was looking rather limp this morning.

Hmmm, maybe balsamic vinegar & strawberries topped with a drizzle of dark chocolate. Pretty standard, but mmmmm tasty.

Thanks for the guess/suggestion. I kinda got the impression it was a cookie, but of course no way of knowing. Should have chased them down and asked, lol!
