Anytime I hear balsamic vinegar is in a recipe my ears perk up. I just overheard in the grocery store line of dark chocolate and balsamic vinegar in something, but no details.
So, frustrated, I made these instead and they were sooo good!
Mushrooms Apulia
1 T olive oil
1/4 onion chopped
1/2 c chopped garlic
3 1/2 oz whole button mushrooms
2 1/2 oz baby spinach
1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
2 T white wine
s & p
chopped parsley
saute onion and garlic.
add mushrooms and saute 3-4 min.
add spinach and balsamic vinegar, cooking till vinegar absorbed.
add wine and cook till absorbed on low heat.
season with salt and pepper and garnish generously with parsley.
