My baby doeling was standing out in the light rain tonight, by herself in the dark, very sad......waving that great long tail of hers at the buck!

Not sure quite what to say. While it's nice to have them stay Kids a little longer . . . that milk will do you good when the time comes.

How old is she now? Your girls are beautiful too. He wont be able to resist for long.

She just made weight at 80 lbs + but is not quite eight months. I will wait a little bit. Probably two more heats....risky, but safer.

Dreamy?!?!? You must have a cold....have you SMELLED him???? What she sees to flirt with, I don't know. He has no ears!

Actually, BBH, I don't know the answer to that! I think some of the small goats can breed year round, but the full-size goats breed in the fall and early winter. Gestation is five months, so I will plan on spring babies.
