i'd say elope or do the courthouse quickie and have it done. if later on you want to have a ceremony then you can always do that. i've seen couples do it on their anniversary to reaffirm their vows and all that.

the finding a place to live in these times is going to be plenty stressful enough.

I'm so done with trying to find a house!!! Nothing I suggest to him is good enough for lots of different reasons so I hope we end up living out of the car for a whole fricking year cuz then he might realize I had suggested some nice places

Well, we have driven to New York and back and From here to New York then back to Virginia together before with no issues. I know that's not across the country but it was a good haul.

We settled the marriage ceremony yesterday while we were doing a small job for his employer. We are just going to do a backyard ceremony with a BBQ reception. Now we just have to find a house!!!
