I really enjoyed reading the answers to the questionnaire, but it left me wanting more. So, in no particular order, I have my own questions for y'all :)

1) How long have you been interested in self suffiency?
Since I was old enough to know how much everything costs.
2) Does your family think you're nuts or are they as crazy as you are?
Uhmm not my whole family, my dh's side think we are a bunch of loonies, but my side of the family think its totally normal since we all grew up on farms in Spain.
3) What is the climate like where you live?
Weird, cold weather for about 8 months or so, we don't often see spring or fall, and summers vary from chilly to super hot with tons of bugs.
4) Have you ever had a pedicure?
yes, I do them myself at home :)
5 Do you prefer cake or pie?
yummm Pie...but dh loves cake more, so we have more cake than pie around here.
6) What book (if any) made you cry?
little women, Anne of green gables, both favorites from my childhood and I still love them.
7) What city would you love to see someday?
Rome
8) What are you most excited about growing?
anything and everything, but if I could have an indoor lemon tree now that would be spectacular :)
9) Do you believe in God?
yes, that is all I am going to say.
10) What's the best thing you've learned in your adventure of simpler living? that its hard work to get there, still trying to get there slowly, but one day I will be there and my kids will thank me in the future, and my dh's family will realize its a pretty good way of living, well ok the second part is a bit far fetched but I can sure hope they will see things our way one day, lol.

Kay...here goes nothing...

1) How long have you been interested in self sufficiency?
I've been slowly learning and becoming more interested over the past 5 years.

2) Does your family think you're nuts or are they as crazy as you are?
Nuts doesn't begin to describe it!! They were ready to have me committed when I began homeschooling our oldest years ago and thought I lost my mind when I bought chicks 3 years ago!!!

3) What is the climate like where you live?
I'm in Ohio and the weathermen claim we have 4 seasons but I don't buy it. From where I sit we get cold then hot and humid.

4) Have you ever had a pedicure?
Yes, and it was a little weird but the result was beautiful!!

5 Do you prefer cake or pie?
Yes. Oh, you mean I have to choose.....

6) What book (if any) made you cry?
I saw someone mention Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech and I did recently read and cry over than one too. I also read Jacob Have I Loved every few years and that one gets me too!!

7) What city would you love to see someday?
There are so many places I would like to go...New York, Vegas, Savannah, Chicago, I've rarely left the great state of Ohio

8) What are you most excited about growing?
Raspberries and strawberries

9) Do you believe in God?
Without a doubt.

10) What's the best thing you've learned in your adventure of simpler living?
That there isn't a right or wrong way to do things. Everyone has their own style and different resources available and as long as it works out in the end it doesn't matter.
