is missing. :(

well she was a pet. lived outside mostly, came in once in a blue moon came in the house to relax with me and I miss the PURR!

found her as a kitten at a grocery store near the entrance. knowing she was not going to live good, I grabbed her and took her home for the farm. That was over 15 years ago.

She only liked me. would run from everyone. hubby and eventually the kiddo. ONLY would respond to me.

about a month ago she changed. I think a stroke. She just sat on the porch (which she didn't come to the house much), let everyone pet her, hugged up to the dog (?) and had a vacant look. She also wouldn't jump alot. Slept like crazy. Basically was hand feeding her chicken. She didn't seem to find the food bowl I put out.

last week she wouldn't barely eat. stuffed food in her mouth. she stopped any jumping. would just go around and around in circles. cocked her head weird. her right lip was curled up kinda funny.

I think she had another stroke.

So hubby and I chatted and I told him if she continues to not eat I was not going to starve her. He would put her down.

well 2 days ago he saw her heading into the woods. that was the last. I fear she is gone. Off to pass away.

So she had a great life I know that much and I think a dignified ending.

----just wanted to chat about Litt'l Kitty. She was a good one! :)

Sounds like she was...it's hard to lose a really good animal. Sometimes, after knowing one like that, others don't quite measure up... :hugs

thanks Bee

all my critters were good ones I have to say in their own right. but I am sure another kitty will wonder my barn way and I will take care of it also.

some how you own barns and the critters come. some good, some bad LOL

I have fed so many stray cats over the years I am sure my kitty dry food bill is way of $100 million  :P

Sorry to hear it.

It sounds like she lived a pretty long and good life for a mostly outdoor kitty. You gave her a good life. :)

Sorry to hear. It's never easy to lose a good animal. :hugs

It's never easy to lose a loved one, no matter the species or where it lived. {hugs} Sounds like she had a good life, and knew where to hang out for comfort and security after that stroke. I hope another one finds you quickly, you offer a good home.

Yup, a good life
we should all be so lucky right?

this was a great cat life anyway lol

thanks all

she hasn't returned. I fear she is gone. But a great life and a good ending for a cat.
