Had I known of the kitty litter method of cheesemaking when I made this press, it wouldn't exist!

Free - (I have my professional engineer hat on now - can you tell by the tone of my voice?) I think you did a wonderful job on the press. You used some basic concepts of physics and did it very well. I used a deep voice and cleared my throat three times.

OK now you have to tell me about the kitty litter press design. Have I missed a thread somewhere?
