My goal (thanks Farmerchick!) is to switch to all natural cleaners and home care products this year. I want to start a list of all necessary items and would like to know what you all consider necessities and if you can tell me why or what they are used for that would be very helpful!

I am guessing my list will begin with :
White vinegar
Baking soda
Washing Soda
Fels Naptha
Essential oils

What else is needed to keep a clean home?

Baking soda for sure, I use it alot - in the kitchen and bathroom.

I do still use Bleach mixed with water for my working surfaces in the kitchen.

Lemons with salt...great for counter tops and wood cutting boards. Just use leftover lemon in the rind and rub onto surface with salt

I have heard of using borax for all sorts of things but is it natural and safe?

Do you have pets? Or walk outside barefooted? Ever eat anything without washing your hands? Maybe ate meat without thoroughly cooking? You get the picture.

A medical doctor will prescribe a dewormer in certain situations.

If a practical person would deworm their pets, why wouldn't they deworm themselves?
