I believe it FD. Laundry soap has always made me sneeze, so I make my own. Might be wishfull thinking but I think the cloths are cleaner. I quit using make up after getting an infection in my eyes that made my tear ducts stay open. Living close to Mother earth never hurts and may even help. Thanks for the article. Jan

I couldn't see the article on your link (just the title). But I wouldn't doubt it... I used to get horrible skin rashes until I quit using fabric softener.

That is interesting. I used to make my own powder detergent, but quit because it made me sneeze.

I started making my own laundry detergent, not for any SS reason, but because my husband and I both had terribly itchy skin and I couldn't figure out why. Did a little research and tried making my own detergent, and no more itching. We never had a problem until all of the scented detergents came out, and it was hard to find something that wasn't heavily scented. I think our laundry smells better now... just a nice clean smell, not perfumed. I'm sure hubby appreciates his clothes not smelling like lilacs too! :D

ETA... If everyone starts going nekkid, I hope all those "People of Walmart" stay home and inside!
