Keep in mind I live in a city - my ENTIRE yard can be seen by 9 neighbors!! Livestock is not an option.

I live in a fish bowl too! I grow 12 ft corn in strategic spots for privacy while I wait on my bambo,shrubs,and trees to grow up and block out curious eyes. My hens love the corn.

I'm going for sunflowers. My fiance likes pampass grass so if that is rabbit-edible I'm going to try to get some. MY parent's neighbors have pampass grass in there yard. I bet they would share some....

You should be able to fasten a metal nest box to the outside of the cage, with just the open part protruding into the cage. Then it is as cleanable as everything else.

I really like those metal cage systems, but we have Flemish and Flemish Cross rabbits, so they need something sturdier than the average wire bottomed cage. We give them each a resting shelf, and use really heavy gauge wire that feels softer on their feet.
