Well, we need a permit to own the gun, need a permit to transport the gun, It must be in a locked case, in your locked trunk, and you only have permission to transport it to and from your home to a shooting range. Hmmmmph. Needless to say, we got rid ouf our handgun. It was a nice ruger .22.

Lovely :rolleyes: I suppose criminals "don't have too"?

We are actually able to open carry here without a permit.
Generaly though, its just the showoffs who do it.

DH has a super nice locally made chest holster that he wears when fishing/guiding and hunting. Its good backup in the woods, and required for stream fishing up here, because of bears.

I like the look of it but I think my only concern would be how easy is it to remove if you were in a bad situation. I guess unless you don't care if everyone can see it. Also how comfortable would it be if you are sitting down?
