Welcome!

I'm over on BYC. I have a lot of silkies so I hang out in the silkie thread a lot.
I have 5 silkies out of 25 chickens. Our white silkie pullet, Floof, is my son's favorite.

I hope she goes broody and hatches some more when she starts laying. 🤫don't tell my husband 😅🤣 (Quietly tucks hen in corner behind some clutter in coop with her eggs, 21 days later... ..."What?! I had no idea she was broody! But they're sooo cute 🥰")

Are they yours?

Yes they were. I had splash when I first got silkies. The paint cockerel was hatched in 2021. He was part of a batch of different colored silkie eggs. I just needed the partridge boys because that's the color I raise and I needed new blood.

Got some blue cream (aka porcelain) pullets as well. They look very close to my lavender patridge.

This is a lavender partridge. I don't actively breed for them. I've been trying to remove the lavender gene from my flock as Im not sure who actually brought it in. It's recessive so hides.
