Found this site while registering for the BackYardChickens site. A friend lurks there.

Southern Illinois, married, 3 kids, critters (milk goats, steer, donkey, chickens, fruit trees, gardening, cheesemaking, canning, and general homesteady type stuff).

I think I will read around a bit before jumping in.

Museli is Manna!

Look it up from Bob's Red Mill. Can make a mean cookie equal in protein to chicken (ignore the calories from sugar. They are scared of Heights and if you place them 6' up will jump )
