The okra on the left is what i grew last year. They are high production very tasty and make the best pickled okra. The one on the right is what they gave me at the feed store when i asked for the same okra. They dont produce well, wilt in the heat and make terrible pickled okra. Just a jar of slime.

Does anyone know the name for the okra on the left so i dont make the same mistake again?

I don't know what the one on the left is - but Clemson Spineless is a great "go to" okra. it has never failed to produce well and abundantly. I'm growing a different one this year too - and it looks suspiciously like the one on the right. It's called "Cowhorn Okra" or something like that. The jury is still out on that one....
