NH Homesteader's journal

That's just horrible! So glad you didn't have any damage because dealing with FEMA just sucks!

Hope the doc appointments go ok.

Excited that you're getting the new goats!! Hopefully, they are bred and Clifford won't be a problem. If they aren't bred will you breed them to him or take them back for a re-do?

Yeah I'm also concerned with my girls headbutting them if they are bred, and all that. They should be, she hand bred them but no, I won't bring them back if they aren't. It's a 1.5 hour drive one way and it's hard enough finding a time to get up there to get them!

UGHHHH well now that we have power, the pump in our pellet boiler quit so DH is trying to find a part for that or we'll have a cold night!

Good that you're not getting down to 3, lol. And better that you're getting the price for almost half price! YAY!

Yes! Could have gotten it for $112 but wouldn't be here til Monday. So $140 will do.

DD survived her flu shot. Was not cooperative with the nurses but her doctor is AMAZING and she was great with her.

Just ran out of space in the freezer. Ugh. Have ground pork we have to squeeze in there still, and 12 meat birds in a couple weeks. Hmm.

Hmmmm, with all that money you saved you can buy a new freezer!!! Or eat a lot between now and then...or have a party and invite a lot of hungry friends...or ask mom/dad if they have room in their freezer... or what the Heck just ship some to me!

lol!! We squeezed the pork in there. My mom said she has space in hers for some chickens if we need it. And we'll eat a lot too I'm sure!
