our schools were closed monday along with bridges and highways because it
1)rained
2)it was 31 degrees
3)there was about 15 min of frozen rain
then tuesday was a half day cause they were calming down from the incredible winter weather (shown bove)
oh and the best part is they shut down a 8 lane bridge with people on it because it had a patch of black ice
after an hour or so the police escorted each car over the bridge one by one

*Understandable*, because there is SO much traffic (both local and highway through-traffic) and so many people are from places, often *countries*, where they did NOT grow up driving in snow... but still. How long does it REALLY take people to figure out that you need to go slower and allow more space and longer stopping distances? <scratches head>
