It is pink with a brown rump. It is as big as a cat, well my cat, who is pretty fat and tall. It was trying to get into my yard (where my chickens and sheep live.) I've put the dogs in and opened my gate to coax it into the back yard.

Any advice??

Eta: title change, I finally got him into the gate...he's trapped!!

:yuckyuck Well, he is in! And he went straight to the chicken food.

He wont let me catch him tho. Will he "come around' if I keep food out?

Gosh he is soooo cute!!! :love

Should I put up signs? Do you think someone is missing him?

My LGD is going nuts!!! Apparently this piglet isn't on her bouncer's list. "No reservations" she says!

Hahahaha....oh my gosh! I want to see!!!

Shoot, I guess the right thing to do is to put up a sign and see if someone calls. Worst case, maybe you have just found someone to raise you up some bacon. Best case, you are gonna be raisin' up some bacon.

Edited to add....isn't this kind of a SS fantasy? Meat animals just sneak into your property and set up housekeeping?

Chicken feed is pretty much the same as pig feed, so at least you know you can feed him properly.

I'd go out and buy him some doughnuts and lure him into a safe place. Ha ha ha I just realized that could be taken wrong by someone with a certain authoritative job. :gig

ETA: Shoot . . . all this excitement . . . I can't even spell doughnut to save my life.

LOL Dace, the only thing that would make it better is if he were just the right size to BBQ. No feeding or cleaning up after required.

Why do things like this always happen to other people? :hu

Here he is!

Dace, you are right, a complete SS fantasy, free meat! :p

You guys know what? I have been getting pig "signals" from the universe lately. My friends bought me a Christmas pig that lights up like those yard reindeer, my daughter found a little plastic pig and just recently I got a pig video sent to me, look in Games and Jokes.

Drake, I thought it was "do-nut". :p

Noobie, you will get a break one day. I was just thinking the same thing and bam a wild piglet shows up!!

Tamlyn, I'm the only dummy with livestock around here. There are a few horses etc and maybe a cow, but no pigs!
