This little guy is a hog for sure! He has a keen sense of smell too. I just made a little food trail to the pen and left a pile in ther for him. Well see if he follows it.

I nixed the trap in dog crate idea.

Thanks Drake for the info! I'm going to get some doughnuts right now. ;)

Are we starting wishlists as to what we want dropped off at our farms? first, I need more land :p

Any food scraps you have, the pig will eat, and I mean any
I would like a dozen chickens.... pretty please :)

We used to have a commercial greenhouse that we grew tomatoes in and our pigs mostly ate kitchen scraps and soft/rotted tomatoes from the greenhouse by the bucketfull.... they really didn't eat that much feed, but that was in the summertime and they were pastured... we never actually kept pigs longer than one summer :)

Well how cool is that?!

I know someone who got a pig that fell off a truck too.. What are the odds?

Sally, it was meant to be! You're going to be a swine farmer! Congratulations!

Ok you guys, your wish lists are crackin me up!!

Thanks hwillm1977, I have plenty of table scraps today as a matter of fact!

I made a trail to the pen but the sheep are eating it! :p

All he is doing is eating and rooting!!! He must have been hungry!

You know, I wonder if it did fall off someone's truck? Right, what are the odds?

My sign simply says "Missing Pig"

"Call to identify"

Ah! That is so cool! As long as we're sending wishes out to the universe, I would *love* for a really sweet and friendly dairy goat to take up residence here...

 I forgot it was Friday.

My wish is for a pair of bottle-fed yaks. Do you think they might trudge up to my gate and just wait around for me to let them in? :fl

Seriously . . . that is the only way to get tame yaks. Otherwise they could be a little dangerous.

I know . . . I dream big.
