I looked/maybe I overlooked, but couldn't find any info on this.

Does anyone have an shed turned into an outdoor pantry that is lightly insulated against the harsh winter temperatures?

When we move, we won't have the money to dig a root cellar, so I was thinking along this way.

I hate to be a party-pooper, but I cannot imagine that working in most areas of the country....where are you moving to? What do you hope to store? I don't think you can maintain root cellar temps anywhere above ground, especially "lightly insulated." Sorry, not useful I know, but this is likely why you haven't found anything on it.....

I use a second fridge to solve this problem, and have root cellar conditions in part of my basement for part of the year (winter), so I just make sure I use things up that are stored there before the conditions change and it warms up.
