Does Dazzle have feathers on her feet? If so, she's most likely a Cochin. But, her body size says Wyandotte! Wyandottes have rose combs, while she has a single comb. She's a beautiful girl, for sure, no matter what type of comb she has. Some hatchery stock does not breed true for expected comb style.

No, she does not have feathers on her feet. She's just a hatchery quality chicken....and I love her!

No need to think any less of her b/c her comb is off type!!! She's a beautiful hen. That she goes broody gives her even more bonus points.

If you're talking about the picture of the week, it's usually every week, but Sumi is recovering from surgery. She'll catch up when she can. Keep submitting pictures. Sometimes they'll come up again weeks later on a week when people are busy and don't get anything posted.
