pig manure fertilizer

ok trying to plant taters in half of a 55 gallon drum....and a friend has pigs on a slab that I can dig behind his pen......so how much uncomposted manure do I need to ad to the drum? 2-3 shovel fulls????I know I dont wanna fill the drum up.

Fresh pig manure is way too strong to use in the garden. It's recommended that it's left to age for at least 1 year before getting used, or it will fry your plants. It's worth the wait though. I've used aged pig manure in my garden and I've yet to find something better. It's wonderful stuff!
