Is that five months from their birth or five months from when you get them....at what age?
When we get ours, they are running about 45 to 50 pounds. ( we pay about a dollar a pound, live weight)Not sure of thier age, I am guessing a few months old?? So 5 months after we get them, to freezer camp they go!

OK, that is about right then. I got mine at two months I think, so 8 months will be six months later....a month or two longer on pasture. We'll see what actually happens.

I may try to switch to hogs, too. People won't get such a "Charlotte's Web" reaction....maybe.
