Pitfalls in untreated seed wheat

Does anyone out there buy untreated seed wheat for storage and are there any pitfalls if you do????
Does anyone have any guide lines on using CO2 for grain storage???

As far as I know, all wheat stores INDEFINITELY if kept cool and dry.
Untreated wheat should be essentially the same. It may however be susceptible to diseases once planted.

I suppose you could treat it before you planted it. As for CO2, it may help to deny O2 to little wee ones that like O2 in your wheat but it will also extend your shelf life by quite some years.
