I found this cream separator on ebay for $109.00. It's the only one i've seen that isn't metal, and it's the only one i've seen that's less than $350.

But i've never separated cream before. I would like to use this to make butter from goat's milk.

Is this worth it? Does the plastic make it less likely to work.

Please advise me. I know nothing.

Thanks!

I don't much about cream separators but I would be concerned about the cleaning aspect of plastic. All my goat strainers and buckets are stainless steel and it was really driven into me by other goat breeders to keep everything stainless steel to properly sanitize.
