Hi all. Just re-found this group while surfing the web. I'm in lovely Ponchatoula Louisiana. Love it here. We moved after Katrina took out our New Orleans home. I'm so happy to be in a small town and living the life I always wanted. Sometimes even the worst disasters can put you on a better path. I'm very interested in a low stress, low impact lifestyle. I've practiced my own form of voluntary simplcity for awhile. Now I want to kick it up a level and become even more self sufficient.

Anybody else in the area?

Mississippi here.

I love Ponchatoula. It is a beautiful old town. The stores downtown are so much fun to visit. I use to come to the Strawberry Festival every year. Have not been in several years though.
