Possibly pancreatitis? How much fat is in the food you are feeding your cat?

I know our kitty cannot have venison, beef or salmon. She is borderline pancreatic. Too rich for her. Lefty does fine with chicken, lamb and some tuna. Lefty did not puke after every meal, but she would puke at various times like your cat is doing now.

Check the food and try to find a brand that doesn't contain corn. A friend had a chronically puking cat and found out it was allergic to the corn in its food. There is cat food that doesn't contain corn but it is very expensive.

 They have been on Taste of the Wild for two weeks now ;) 100% grain free.

But, we solved the problem.
We were going to get our cats fixed this winter, but both of them got outside at one point. I was certain that they were not in heat, but I was wrong. Little hussy's :rant
Now, I could have sworn that the one that has been sick all this time was not in any way pregnant. Never did really gain weight or girth., Just a tiny bit.
The other one, well, lets just say, she looked like she was going to have a village.

Well, both of them had kittens yesterday :th
The one that has been puking had two, and the other had 7.
So, I am guessing she had morning sickness.

If I recall correctly, she had been sick once in a while over the whole time. It was just the last 3 weeks that were bad.

Anyways, they are now under lock and key, and will be getting fixed as soon as its safe.

Or perhaps not so much morning sickness, which animals don't generally get, as simply "not enough room in tummy for amount of food she wanted to eat". I remember that well :p

Anyhow enjoy your kittens :)

My sister is the cat expert. She advises a trip to the vet because if the puking cat only had 2 babies, it is possible that there is another one or more that died in utero that could be causing problems. Kidney failure is another cause of puking, especially if there is no pattern.

:hu She started puking 3 weeks before she had the kittens. And I could have sworn up and down that she was not even pregnant. Never got fat really!

Does the puke (sorry to get gross!) look digested, or just chewed a bit?
