Ohhh, a quiet lunch with friends, whats that? Post some pics of the big basket building I would love to see it. I enjoy long drives with the kids, sometimes. Gives us a chance to talk with no distractions. :D
Their home office is shaped like a large basket.

Hey, QA! Are you guys scheduled to get any of this rain that is headed my way today? Or won't it go that far south?

Update on the first week-end of April ... my dh will be home! :thumbsup

It is raining a bit here, just enough to get everything wet, though, not really soaking in. We need a good soaker!

Wow, that is one cool building! How is the car search going....I saw your other post and I don't want to pry...I feel like this: it's your money, you know what is best for your family, so who am I to tell you if it is right or wrong? I just hope everything works out to your liking :D

I'm sorry, I just have no desire to share anymore, nor will I.

We're Ok, and we'll manage. ;)

Well I understand, but I think it's a darn shame. :hugs You have a lot to offer and you're fun. Will you still post in your journal? I'd love to see how the beds are coming along.

Today's rain was mostly drizzle off and on. It didn't start to rain hard until late this afternoon. We are supposed to get rain all night and all day tomorrow....so it might end up being a good soaking rain.

Yes, I'll still post in my journal, but I'm still planning to be careful about what I share.

We've not had the chance to go get the load of top soil from the Amish man yet, but I hope we will soon. Then I can plant my raised bed.

I have a picture for you, keljonma, so I'll email you in a bit. Elizabeth laid a nice pretty brown cackleberry yesterday, and I laid it next to a buff orp egg for a comparison shot. I don't think her eggs are as dark as they will be yet, but we'll see.

Quail....my son discovered some of my hens laying in my young hound's doghouse today! Talk about meals-on-wheels! He won't even have to try to steal from their nests anymore, they just deliver the eggs right to his door! :he This is a crazy ol' life, isn't it? :P
