QA - seems like one thing after another for you - ummmm- sounds a lot like my life. Always something or someone trying to just make your life miserable. I know that - chin up - won't let them get me down - talk. Works most of the time but sometimes don't you just want to crawl under the bed and hide with a box of chocolate.

Oh good grief.....you poor things. Why do people have to stick their noses into other people's business. I hate it for you darlin', really. I know you'll come out of it alright, you always do. You're scrappy just like the rest of the folks on here! We don't take stuff lying down! Praying for ya darlin'!

OK well more stuff has happened since last time I posted, not necessarily bad, but we were advised that since there is no search warrant, to not let them into our home. The reason is, for some reason they are being pretty adamant and funny about wanting ALL of our kids here when they come. My friend and her husband, said it sounds like a set up to them.

They can't come into the home without a warrant, and the judge will not issue a warrant on an annonymous tip, so without any proof that any of what was reported is true, then they can't get a warrant. (The only part that was true is there is no running water in the home.) My friends adviced not to let them in, because if I give them permission to enter the home, anything they deem as evidence can be used against us.

Other news, house 4 houses down from us came up for rent today. Literally in walking distance from where we are now. All the livestock/chickens could stay here, and we could feasibly live there, and still be here daily to care for the critters. We're calling tomorrow to talk to the owners, who we are also friends with I'm really praying this is an answer to prayer, and that we'll be able to afford it and move. Soon. If we can work out something with the owner, I'm talking we'll be moving in the next week or two!

Well, because I can walk from there to here in 5 minutes, and we are thinking we'll come here during the day, and just go there in the evenings for showers/family time/sleeping, it's not like the animals will be left alone.

Plus, we plan to gate the driveway.

Emmy the horse is going to be going to stay with a friend until she foals and the foal is weaned. That's going to help us, too. And I'm trying to downsize the waterfowl.

I dont usually post in the journals section because i feel like i dont know people well enough to do that yet. But when i saw this i just had to say that i am so sorry about what is happening to you! I dont know if i can be any help at all..but i am also a therapeutic treatment foster parent. ANd if i can help you out in any way at all , please PM me. Again, so sorry that bitter souls do this crap to people. And you are right! It DOES take the already overworked case managers away from the REAL cases they need to be investigating..And it really gets me so upset to see!! Best Wishes and I'll be thinking of you!

I have 3 girls, 2 of which are laying daily. Not pure, though. I mean, my girls are, but I don't have them separate with their roo yet. I've got to get their coop done first. I'm not sure if the 3rd is laying yet or not, she should be, as she is a year old, but I've not caught her laying. I do collect on average 6 bantam eggs a day, just never sure who's I've collected

Thanks, redhen. I think what has me the most upset is that this CPS worker keeps saying, "I'm not going to take your kids, just let me come to the house, see the kids, and talk to you." Almost in a plaintive voice a person would use when trying to placate a child. It made me sick to my stomach and gave me a really BAD feeling in my gut.
