Quail_Antwerp: Words from the Barnyard...

Well that's GREAT news!!

now we need to send some of the NICE weather out to ofg!!

So my mom just delivered to me my first nuc of bees!! well, actually it's a swarm from her hive - but she captured them in a nuc box for me.

They are in a temp set up - and they'll be getting some sugar water spritz baths for a couple days until I get my hive set up on Sunday.

:celebrate :celebrate :celebrate

It's the bees-knees here folks!!

Pics to come in a few days!

Little girl .... YOU scared the Shiatsu out of me! :rant

Shame!!

I thought there must have been a tornado when I saw that picture!!!

I'm sorry!

I'll go edit that post to explain old trailer before tear down, old trailer after teardown.

Supposed to be leaving soon for Mt. Hope - but we haven't even loaded up yet because we woke up to an almost flat tire!

E's working on getting it aired up, and then we have to wait to see if it's going to hold air or not. I'm hoping it was just low.....

I talked to your mom Friday morning; sounds like your morning didn't go quite as planned. Sorry to hear about the tire.

It sure was a pert near perfect day wasn't it? This is the kind of day I missed when we lived in Tomball! :D

Looking forward to hearing how Mt Hope went..... :pop

I can't wait to see pics!
Pam, good to hear from you! QA's first colony will be hived in a traditional Langstroth. Not meaning to hijack QA's journal here..... but I was wondering if you will be journaling on SS about your top bar hive experiences?
