ok we went to the bank.

did NOT splurge on breakfast, ate at home instead.

Went to the store. couldn't find shoes for Baby boy in his size. will try again next week.

Didn't find the blades needed for E's saw. Will try again later.

Can't say it was a total wash, though, because we stopped at an outlet store and found made in America waterfowl feather pillows for $5.99 each! Earlier this year we had purchased a feather pillow for E for $20 on a PA trip with the Amish! BIG price difference!

got one for me and one for FIL, as he's been wanting one. Plus, he'll reimburse us for buying it.

Plan to go back and buy each of the kids a new pillow for Xmas - they all need a new one and that price for a feather pillow, made in America! is a great find, IMO!
 
OOOH ... what are you going to do with the down feathers? This opportunity should not be missed.
 
My FIL surprised us by bringing down a bunny for the kids! :th

Not just the bunny, but he said he bought the bunny cage and all - but has to go back and pick up the cage after the holiday weekend. He also brought 2 bags of pelleted food and a bag of alfalpha hay! :th

Baby Boy came home early, due to having a bought of diarrhea, so he was the first to see the new bunny. He would have been too young to remember the other rabbits we had, and probably wouldn't have meant anything to him anyway, but his class has a pet bunny named Fluffy. He sees our new bunny and he, in total awe says, "Ah! A bunny!" and he quickly starts asking, "Where'd you get the bunny?" lol

Bunny, who's not named yet, is temporarily living in the call duck pen until Tuesday evening when his rabbit house gets picked up.

I had 2 pets and the darn things lived for 12 yrs and the other about 13 yrs. (well maybe not that long but it sure seemed like it LOL)

I had NO IDEA they wouldn't die sooner LOL

Baby boy named the Bunny Checkers this morning HAHAHAHA

E (surprise!) said I need to fix up an indoor cage for Checkers for over the winter months :th lol I couldn't believe my ears!!

17 days to baby! whoot!
 
My DD wants rabbits....I keep putting her off cause Daddy has to build a hutch for it if we get one and Daddy's too busy right now ;)

Glad baby girl has turned!!! Only problem is that now she'll kick you in the throat!!! :lol:
