Question: "What would you want to do in the wilderness?"

Hey friends!

Me and a friend of mine are going to start a tourism company here in Sweden..
Wilderness, bushcraft, canoeing...
Have some courses in "basic skills", survival, guidning...

Now I wonder: If you were a tourist and came here to us: What would you want to do?

We're also thinking about having some kind of "obstacle course" (don't know the word for it), and canoe tours with small stops along the way with activities like Climbing, shooting and so on.


Corporate events, "challenge your colleagues in the wilderness - obstacle course, learn to cooperation by overcoming obstacles together!"..


So, just some thought: what would you like to do?

That is good and fun for younger(and very healthy older folks too) folks but being a big foodie don't forget to include tours of good eating places with local cuisine! or have someone to cook any fish you fish for etc. Even adventurous eating like special things only found in Sweden. Like the stinky fermented canned fish! It is really become popular to try new and weird foods now due to Bizarre foods show. and it seems like crayfish is a favorite too. can you think of any other cool or even gross or gory foods that might be good for a brave (and on video) food tasting crowd!

You could try something a little different..everyone is doing survival camps and such, but maybe you can do one geared around folks with dogs. People love their dogs and like to include them on vacation, so maybe you could offer courses in skijoring, bikejoring, hiking with back packs on the dogs, surviving with the help of dogs, etc.

Zip lines are always fun...could have one of those for your obstacle course.

Learning about basic wildlife snares for small and large game, with courses on how to gut, skin and process the kill. Learning how to fish for survival using rudimentary equipment.

Horses are always a big hit...just about anything to do with horses will attract all ages.

Could also throw in some simple quick crafts like making a travois for your dog (dogs can pull a lot more than they can carry) using a couple of branches and lashings, etc.

A foraging tour is all ways good, showing ppl what local plants are edible I've done those they can be fun and lunch is on the move!
